Easy way is to eat whole foods, eat at home and avoid processed foods. You would be surprised how much food you have to eat in order to overeat when you aren't eating junk.

I’m well aware of the boycotts- Starbucks is still outperforming other coffee distributors…my point in naming them was very intentional (to discourage sales from them since it completely went over your head). i’m commenting because of course I have insecurities about my body. It’s hard not to in this day and age where it’s all over social media of course. Seeing everybody online is just making me so hyper focused about my looks. I’ve never felt this conscious about my body and unfortunately, it’s not in a positive way. Thank you for saying these tips and especially when you said to stop listening to everyone online and just listening to your own body. I think that’s really the key. My sister lost a good amount of weight and I asked her to send me whatever videos she saved on TikTok to help her lose weight. Although it worked for her, it’s full of videos with low calorie recipes. I’m glad it worked for her but things like those just don’t sound appealing to me. Your approach sounds more like something that would work for me with listening to your body, giving it nutrients, and not completely restricting yourself. Thank you for your tips!

This video honestly makes me want to cry. It’s a reminder of how badly I’ve been treating myself. I’m addicted to stress. Even though I’ve been eating healthier and exercising, I haven’t seen the change I want because I’m chronically stressed. I’m going to pray about this, I need Jesus to help me get to a healthier state❤

recently lost a lot of weight (ty ozempy🫶🏾) but i’m still struggling w maintaining healthy eating habits, this was a great video!!!!
There are so many factors that influence weight loss… some people (like me), literally have to be low carb to lose weight especially after my 30s. Carbs make me tired. Oatmeal doesn’t like me but I love oatmeal 😩. There’s also the issue of hormones especially for women. If you have insulin resistance, you will NOT lose weight even if you’re in a calorie deficit because your body will hold on to that weight. That’s a reason why a lot of people incorporate intermittent fasting. So I don’t believe that people who choose to cut a food group have a bad relationship with food. That’s simply not true across the board. I worked with a nutritionist and trainers and I followed their food plan to the T… my body does not like excess carbs… my coach was finally like let’s cut the carbs back and see… worked like a charm. Calories and calories out is no longer all that is required. Everyone is different… do your research on hormones and insulin resistance. Look up Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Boz and Dr. Jason Fung especially if you know you’ve tried the calorie deficit and it hasn’t worked.

Okay this is so amazing! I’ve always gained and lost very easily after a traumatic event. Now 22 years later, I am 3 years in off being around 20 kilos heavier then my health weight and not being able to loose it like before.. over the years I’ve had more traumatic events and it is now that I am realizing, that I haven’t forgiven the persons hurting me the most.. it’s holding me back in a lot of ways and finally I am able to see they actually helped me see the world in its true colors. It’s amazing you link sickness to trauma, I’ve been believing this since knowing of my auto immuun disease on my skin. When I started healing myself, the problems has gotten way less! Now my healing can start with food. Thank you ❤
For me it's giving this kindness ok, I got it, I agree 💯 but it's also important to talk about step 2. Step 2 is to not expect the same back. It's problematic for me. Do you also catch yourself with unfulfilled expectations when you give kindness (even when you do not think about receiving)?
